INTRODUCTION
The Indus Valley civilization, one of the oldest in the world, dates back at least 5,000 years. The land inhabited by this civilization is flooded by one of the largest rivers in the world, the River Indus. The Indus valley civilization had great strength at the time of its emergence through progression in the field of art, education, culture, trade and commerce. This land has been the centre of learning as it has given birth to some of the most prestigious educational institutions form Khyber to Mehran. In continuation of this success story, Indus international Institute is going to be a glowing example. The Institute is purely built to elevate the educational standard of the Area. Dera Ghazi Khan is a city located in Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan. Dera Ghazi Khan is one of the most populous cities in Southern Punjab, and it is the largest district in Punjab in terms of area, being approximately 5,306 square miles (13,740 km2) in extent. Dera Ghazi Khan city is situated on the western bank of the Indus river. It is the only city of Pakistan that is called junction of all provinces.
Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef inaugurated Indus International Institute at December 11, 2011 and praised the contribution of this institution towards poverty elevation via education.
The Institute aims at fortifying the educational base of its students, keeping in view their future needs and infusing in them a proper sense of values, social awareness, right analytical thinking and dignified living. The goal of Institute is to produce quality rather than quantity. Focus is always be to develop close liaison with the industry, for this purpose, regular industrial visits are arranged. Eminent speakers from regional as well as national business leaders are invited for regular seminars.
The institute is fully equipped with a state of the art computer lab along with high speed DSL. Moreover facility of videoconferencing is available to the students. Library includes almost all reference books of the courses and other books. Institute is also preparing a program with international universities for awarding joint degrees in different disciplines.
